The "International Beauty Industry Grand Event 2026", jointly organised by LBEDU Luster Beauty International Education & Training Institute and IQA International Qualifications Assessment Alliance, has officially come to a successful close. This professional gathering, which brought together beauty elites from around the world, was not only a showcase of skills and exchange of ideas, but also a significant milestone for Hong Kong’s beauty education on the global stage.

Eminent Guests Gather to Celebrate the Industry

On the day of the event, distinguished guests from all over the world graced the occasion. The UK VTCT Skills ITEC delegation, led by Dr. Daniel Tromans, together with Ms. Elaine Willemse and Ms. Audrey Poon, showed their strong support. Also present were Ms. Jenny Ngu, Director of Miss International Hong Kong; Pauly TSE and Evelyn from IQA; Olivia KU and Evelyn from CICE Caritas Community College (Beauty Department); Dr. FUNG KA MAM, former Senior Manager of ERB; and Dr. MA YAN from the Chinese Association of Plastic Surgeons, among other industry leaders. Several Miss International Hong Kong titleholders – NaNa (2023), Beata Zhang (2024), and the 2026 Hong Kong winner Clarisse Achard – also attended, adding glamour to the ceremony.

Creative Brilliance that Dazzled the Audience

The professional strength of the LBEDU instructor team was fully on display. Four mentors – Alice CHONG, Michelle WONG, Venus FONG, and Nicole LAU – created top‑notch make‑up looks for the international delegates, showcasing Hong Kong’s leading beauty education standards. Creative works such as Anna Creative Fashion Makeup, Fallen Angel, and Twilight Queen amazed the audience, fully demonstrating the boundless creativity and exquisite skills of beauty professionals.

International Alignment, Continuously Raising Quality

On 14 May, LBEDU participated in the VTCT Skills ITEC transnational international qualifications exchange meeting, synchronising the latest curriculum developments, system upgrades, and global qualification data with international assessment centres in the UK and Indonesia. As a government‑registered institution in Hong Kong (Registration No. 854) established in 2013, LBEDU offers qualifications from Levels 2 to 6 of the Hong Kong Qualifications Framework, covering over 46 courses across more than 39 professional fields. The institute has twice (2023 and 2025) received the "QF Star Training Achiever" award presented by the Secretary for Education of Hong Kong, and was the only Hong Kong finalist for the "Annual Star Institute" at the IQA Awards (Beauty Nobel Prize) in both 2019 and 2026.
