[Course Objectives]
HKQF CEF Certificate in Teaching and Practical Training for Beauty Industry - This course aims to equip students with the ability to teach in beauty training venues, related workplaces, and continuing education institutions. Students will master various teaching and practical training skills, and provide appropriate teaching and practical skills training tailored to the trainees' levels and training objectives, thereby enhancing the trainees' learning experience and knowledge. Upon completion, students will be capable of becoming instructors in the following areas.
The Comprehensive Beauty Industry Instructor Course is primarily designed for all beauty industry professionals aspiring to become comprehensive instructors:
- Beauty Industry (Beauty care, microblading and embroidery skills, eyelash perming, eyelash extension)
- Body Care (Massage therapy, breast care, professional beauty consultant, body care)
- Generic Skills (Basic knowledge of public health and safety, non-permanent hair removal techniques)
- Beauty Equipment (Operation of High-Intensity Focused Ultrasound (HIFU) equipment, operation of Radio Frequency (RF) equipment, microneedling operation)
- Customer Service and Communication (Professional beauty consultant, retail beauty consultant)
- Beauty and Health (Aromatherapy, spa treatments, massage therapy (head), massage therapy (body), beauty and health, plantar health care)
- Optical Beauty (Optical beauty theory (hair removal), optical beauty theory (skin rejuvenation and spot reduction), operation of IPL equipment (hair removal), operation of IPL equipment (skin rejuvenation and spot reduction), operation of laser equipment (hair removal), operation of laser equipment (skin rejuvenation and spot reduction))

[Admission Requirements]
- Completed any QF Level 3 beauty-related course or equivalent; or completed Form 5 (old curriculum) or Form 6 (new curriculum) or equivalent; and
- Possess five years or more of working experience in the beauty industry, including at least two years of beauty training experience.

The maximum subsidy amount is HK$11,500, making the course fee as low as HK$3,500. The maximum subsidy is calculated based on the assumption that the applicant has never claimed CEF before. The actual subsidy amount depends on the amount the student has previously claimed from CEF.
